Lacoste polo question

Hi all,

Long time reader of these boards but this is my first post.

I have a question about Lacoste polos. I have one and am very happy with the quality of it and wanted to stock up on some more. My question is are the discounted ones on ebay and other discount sites authentic or fake? The tags say "Designed in France, Made in Peru."

Are any of these real? And how do you spot a fake?

Any info and advice would be great.
