Just an FYI, the banner link in your post takes you to a different website called "tie-necktie" without the "s" in "ties".

I did, however, type in the address manually, and they have a nice collection of conservative ties.
Observer57:

Thanks. That's right the site is ties-necktie.com So their banner is correct.

Your banner takes us to TIE-Necktie, not TIES-necktie which is what you wanted.
The banner is for ties-necktie but there is another necktie site called tie-necktie. (but their neckties are in the $139 range).

The ties-necktie is the correct site.

Aï aï aï! So many ties! The selection is nice, but if I bought every tie I liked, I'd go broke in a day (even with their ridiculously low prices). I'll have to look at cufflinks, my taste is much pickier in that category.

Edit: I was looking around and noticed, they had a page which describes which ties are appropriate for which events, and on the whole, it's not bad, even if we would readil;y debate some points.

I've ordered from them twice.

The second time, last month, I needed to exchange the ties because one had a small flaw and the other turned out to be a slightly different shade than what I had expected.

I sent them back about 3 weeks ago, but still haven't received the replacements and they have yet to respond to any of the several emails I've sent them inquiring about the matter.

OK ties (made in China, btw); customer service seems like it could use some work.

I got this one for Fathers day. It came pretty quickly in the mail, was packaged nicely, and I think it is very nice for the price. It is pretty stiff, so makes a nice knot. I am hardly an expert on ties though.

Caring for Dress Shoes in Cold and Wet Weather:

With fall and winter just around the corner, the days are not only getting shorter and colder, but in many places of the country this time of the year will also bring more rain and even snow. This type of weather requires certain care for your dress shoes. Below are a few basic tips you should follow before stepping out onto the wet roads. Following these tips will not only keep your feet dry, but will also protect your expensive footwear.

How I Learned to Tie a Tie:

It wasn't until I was 16 or so, that I actually learned how to tie a tie. It was for my first job at the neighborhood movie theater, and the uniform required a black necktie. So, like many, many other young men around the country, I went to my dad and he showed me. I suppose that's something of a tradition; a rite of passage, a passing of the torch, etc., for men. Anyway, he showed me, and I went away secure
