The web site is very vague. They play up the hand burnishing which could be an indication that they use low-grade leather. They have lots of silly colors which is great if you want something to match each of your pimp suits, but I thought Stacy Adams had that market cornered.

I was thinking the same thing about the hand burnishing comments.

They also have the follwing on there in the "About" section: "Our shoes are made 100% of the finest calf leather from inside out, our insoles are made for comfort, we utilize the softest breathable leather and a special anti-fatigue memory gel insert in the heel for your comfort. The Blake welt stitched construction binds the sole with superior flexibility, durability and comfort of our shoes."

I'm really iffy on the leather they use.

The item I saw that caught my eye was a double monk as a brogued wingtip in either brown leather or suede. It took me a while to figure out what looked so different. I don't remember ever seeing a wingtip monk.

They're not uncommon. I have a Peal-branded C&J wingtip single monk and a regretted Antonio Maurizi wingtip double monk. And there's a made-in-Korea cheapo at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Handmade-Double-Strap-Loafer-Angelcola/dp/B00E0G3ZWK/

FWIW I've just emailed them to ask them where their shoes are made.
