Hi all.
I am considering bidding for this pair of boots but need your help in ID this as an authentic JL custom made. Eventhough the boots have new Lobb inserts but the word "LOBB" on the bottom of the boots are much different than the "Lobb" that I have and know to be authentic OTR Lobb. Is the "Lobb" stamp on the boots typical of the custom orders Lobbs?. Thanks in advance for all your help. Andy

Yes, they are John Lobb (London) bespoke. Everything fits: the 'sock' (insole liner) as well as the marking 'Lobb' on the waist of the boots. John Lobb (Paris) for their ready-to-wear uses a logo made from the letters 'J' and 'L'.

The three Royal Warrants indicate that the boots were made more than 18 or 24 month ago (John Lobb lost he Warrant of the Queen, now they only display two - check their web-site).

One thing you ought to be careful: bespoke shoes are made for a particular customer. If that customer's feet are different in size, bespoke shoes will reflect this.
