Does anyone know anything about Jay Butler loafers? Just noticed their web ads. Looks like they sell any type of horse bit loafers conceived by modern man. ($195, 10% off on first order.) They look like the Alden horse bit loafers that are no longer made because Gucci jumped ugly with Alden. You guys know anything about them? Thanks.

I have no direct experience with Jay Butler loafers, but there are a couple of Jay Butler shoe reviews on Youtube videos. I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate a youtube video in this post for the past couple of days and have been unable to do so. You could probably pull them up by searching youtube for Jay Butler shoe reviews.

I find it odd that “Gucci jumped ugly with Alden.” I find the AE version indistinguishable from Gucci.

Look the same to me, also. Gucci threatened to sue Alden, hasn't gotten around to AE I guess.
Yeah, when my Guckies got old and needed to be replaced my feet had widened. So AE was the clear answer. I notice no difference at all. That's probably my last bit loafer purchase.
