I'm among a select lot of people--tom22, among us, as I recall--who continue to recognize the good sense in buying from J. Press. I was "won over" years ago by the New Haven store; but the more I visit the NYC store, the more I appreciate the inventory. Today, while in town for business, I popped in Press for a glance. As always, great stuff for a great price. Enough madras and poplin to make a dyed-in-the-wool trad rejoice, and, of course, all those worsteds and oxfords and silk accessories we've grown to appreciate over the years. It's a treasure.
