$800. That's about what they are on the Mac website.

But why only navy? Fawn is the classic color!
At least I'll be able to try one of these on in person -- I've always wanted one but never known where to buy other than the Mac website.

Yikes! I wonder how many of their customers will spring for one?

Sorry Xdry -- I was away all day. I had meant to post the Mack website instead of posting the J.Crew link a second time.

Harris -- does O'Connell's have Mackintosh brand macks? What is the price?

Yes. Around $500, I think. Best I recall, one of the models is the traditional single breasted raincoat in a dark tan/taupe color.

Here's the Rain Mac "Westminster":

edit: I'm wondering if Ralph will offer a Mackintosh-made raincoat this year. I guess we'll see.

Mackintosh's are everywhere here in Tokyo. Even women and 20 something office girls wear them. However they are around $1000-1200 US here due to import. In fact, Alden's are also very expensive here due to taxes. I have seen Alden's retailing for around $700-1000!!!

^Made by Premier Rainwear in Manchester. Notice the same style names below. Premier is probably the maker of Rainmac. If O'C's has genunie macs @$500, they're relative bargains compared to the $7-800 to get one shipped to the US, not to mention customs.

Actually, best I recall the Rain Mac folks claim there's were/are made in Scotland. Maybe Cumbernauld? This may and should be verified, though.

I like the Duncan model they sell through/on the website, which was also once stocked/sold by Cordings (https://www.cordings.com/CordingsSite/product/MK025CAMEL.htm). If only it featured raglan sleeves/shoulders.
