I would personally opt for a solid shirt in white or pale blue for an interview. The tie is conservative enough though.

It may be the lighting but is that a true suit that was purchased together? Or is it an odd navy jacket matched with navy trousers from a different source?

Although I think your choices are fine, I too would lean towards a pale solid blue shirt. If you were in the States, I would actually change my recommendation to solid white. Also, this recommendation leans more conservative trad business. If you're applying for a start up I personally think all bets are off.

I would also ditch the brown belt and shoes and stick to black leather with no fancy detailing.

I'm perhaps not the best person to give advice on facial hair - to me the only alternative to clean shaven would a well cared-of pencil moustache.

I like a solid blue shirt with that particular green tie.

But if you want to wear black shoes and a black belt, I'd like things better with a white shirt and a different color tie.
Thanks for your reply the other option is I wear this shirt with that suit but no tie what do you think?

What are you interviewing for? Traditionally, most people here will recommend a solid navy or charcoal suit, black shoes, white shirt, and burgundy or navy tie for an interview.

You seem to like bolder shirts. That is fine of course. But are they appropriate for an interview? Is it appropriate to wear a suit without a tie for an interview? Generally no if it's a law firm, investment bank, med school, etc. But it will depend on what you're interviewing for.

Honestly, techies don't wear ties. They just don't. I would either go bright shirt and navy suit no tie or white shirt green tie. (Black and black on belt shoes.) I can tell you with certainty that if you go to the interview wearing a tie you probably will be the only one with one on. It is a safe choice and you can always take it off.

P.S. - I recently attended a tech meeting. Out of hundreds of participants there were just a handful of ties. Of course I was one of them - but I like ties!
