Hey all,

I am delighted to be back here and join in the community, its been a while!

For those that don't remember me (I don't blame you) I am from the UK, I live in Kingsbridge, South Devon and I have been at Herring Shoes for around 13-14 years now (which is crazy ha).

Hopefully you will be seeing more of me around here on a few posts and I am looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Cheers,

Chris

Most of us know that Herring is an excellent company in every way. I've had dealings with Chris before, and he is absolutely superb. If a person is looking for shoes, searching the Herring website first would never be a mistake!

Although I've never had Herring shoes nor seem to see them on lists of the best English shoes, they must have something going for them or they wouldn't get as much ink here as they do. Are they of particularly good quality or a good value for being such as they are or, what do we think?

Herring Shoes is not a manufacturer; they are a retailer of various brands. They do have their own branded line of shoes, but those shoes are made by a variety of manufacturers. Hope that helps!

Couldn't hurt. It was the Herring branded line I was thinking of. I didn't know what kind of reputation they have. Thanks/Hans

Cheers everyone, very kind comments, they are appreciated. Wide fittings is something I would like to see more of too, it all depends on the factories though as some we use simply don't make them in a wider fitting, but it is on the agenda for sure. I am not sure about more Burgundy colours though but, if sales show Burgundy is going to be a popular choice over the next year or so then absolutely we will get more in. Jason (MD) and Sean in CS both love a good Burgundy so who knows?! I would like to get a code just for the users of this forum, would you prefer say 10% or a free pair of shoe trees if you were placing an order? BTW I hope everyone had a nice weekend? It was wet and windy here in the UK, hopefully this is the last week of such weather and spring can FINALLY kick into action..... we need some sun

I have just created a business forum (I hope I have done this right), I will post some videos, updates, offers etc in there but naturally, I am always at hand to offer any help or advice either on here or on there, whatever suits you all. Here is the link FYI Herring Shoes thanks for your support once again.
