in praise of eBay

eBay, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

a grey pinstriped Canali suit, $399
a blue label Polo suit $300
an Oxxford blue and grey pinstriped suit $750
a plaid Kiton sport coat $400
a black Canali suit, $450
2 Belvest blue label suits, $425 per

And on, and on, and on.

I've had only one negative experience so far, with a seller who turned out to be a fraud artist. Paypal is investigating, and I expect that I will be refunded my $400, but even if I were to lose that money entirely, my overall experience buying clothes on eBay would still be enormously positive.

I will say, however, that eBay is best used in conjunction with this forum. One can ask the right questions here, get unbiased and well-informed answers, and then carry out the transaction on eBay.
