I Stumbled on a Reweaver

Reweaving and repair questions come up frequently. I stumbled across these folks and know nothing at all about them--except you can send an injured whatever to them and they will send you an estimate.

They may be worth a try. I suggested he contact Andy about an ad.

I read about "Without a Trace" in Robb Report several years ago and have utilized their services a few times - they are excellent.

More recently we use "Alice Zotta" reweavers in NYC on 45th street - also quite good although Alice is getting up in age and they seem to be overloaded with work with not enough skilled workers (Alice herself no longer does the reweaving). From our experience it seems Without a Trace does a slightly better job than Zotta. But boy, reweaving is sadly a dying art.
