Genuine enquiry: Are turn-ups on trousers only the reserve of traditionalist dressers in the US nowadays? Or are they seen on others as well, for example, mixed with a casual shirt and trainers, as was quite common in the UK in the 70s and 80s?

I ask because I haven't seen a pair of trousers with turn-ups in a shop for years, in Sweden or the UK (on the odd occasion when I'm back in ol' blighty)

Thanks. And the second part of my question is, would I see turn-ups on the trousers of men dressed formally yet not trad. i.e. bank executives, shop staff, office workers etc.

And the third part: would I see them on non-trad dressed men in say a standard blazer and open necked or tied shirt?

I'm basically just trying to get a feel of how common turn-ups still are in the US across the board.

Because in Sweden, at any rate, in all the time I've lived here (12 years) the only people I've seen turn-ups on are old men (goobers as Bill Hicks put it) who have lost interest in their appearance or on the homeless and
poor who still have perfectly good trousers to wear that happen to have turn-ups on.
