I'm looking for a pair of black beatle boots, but haven't had much luck. Can anyone recommend a high-quality boot? It doesn't have to survive nuclear war, but the one's I've seen don't look particularly high quality.

These: look good, but are they decent quality? Those soles look extremely thin.

The other one also looks great, but I admit I'm a bit skeptical. Again, that sole looks paper thin.

I can't tell from these images whether these boots are stitched or glued. Anyone have any insights? Or for that matter, opinions on wearing boots of this style?

Contact; ventura_sales.com they make custom made beatle boots worth around $1,000.00 (US) for about $250.00 (US) in kidskin and suede. I own 4 pair. or contact Anello & david of London. They made the original and still sell them custome made for about $1,000.00 (US) they are just as good as the ones from ventura sales.
