Here is a jacket been “marked up"

Once fitted the garment is ripped down and pressed flat

The garment is then marked as seen below

One of the most importance marks is the shoulders

This is the right shoulder, I have picked the shoulder up ½ inch and crooked it to. I will also deepen the arm hole ¼ inch

On the left shoulder I have picked up the shoulder point. I have not mover the neck point, this is called “crooken†and “Straightenâ€. you “crooken†and “Straighten†a coat from the shoulder.

Here I have marked the back, ready to recut

Here I am cutting it

When the garment is ready, we roll it up and send it back to the tailor
