I was at a Land's End store some time ago and asked about having a pair of gabardine trousers hemmed to give them a 33 inch inseam instead of 34. The lady told me that she didn't think there was enough material there to make this possible. I guess I always assumed that any length inseam could be made shorter. Am I wrong in assuming that or was I misinformed? Thanks.
