Hi,
First I am new to this forum. I want to say hello to everyone.
2ndly, I want to see if anyone has any idea of where I can get my hands on some good original WWII khaki's or reproduction, or styled like WWII Khaki's.
I know of all the WWII Reproduction manufcaturer's, WWII Impressions, Buzz Rickson, What price glory, at the front etc....
I also know if Bill's M1 Khakis.
I am looking for something slightly different (Name wise). I found a pair of DOCKER's K-1's and these are said to be made from Cramerton Army cloth. These were nice heavier WWII Style khaki's that are said to be made from the original WWII khaki machines. The buttons were slightly different, but they were nice. I found a pair at the Thrift store, size 36X32, and 34X32. I gave added some lbs since working at my IT Job. I am in process of loosing 30lbs, but as of now, 36X32's are a bit snug, and 38X32's are VERY roomy. I guess I am more of a 37, ha if they make that. Anyway, When did Docker's make the K-1's and can you still get them anywhere? I found 1 site online where you can get these from somewhere in Britian, but VERY EXPENSIVE. I paid $4 at the store, but the Online store wanted $50british pounds. I also just bought a pair of POLO Army cloth trousers, kinda like WWII's, but not exact.
If I can loose enough weight I will buy a pair of BUZZ RICKSON's. I just bought a Pair of 38X32 original WWII Khaki's from a guy I met Online, and they are MINT, but have bad storage stains, slightly deep, but Not bad, I think they could be washed out. The only issue is there is an original WWII Tag in the pants that if I wash them it will dissolve. Those 60+year old cotton tags get destroyed in about 1 minute in the wash. I made a mistake and washed a mint pair of M-1943 Green Army pants that had a mint tag, and it was destroyed in a matter of minutes, when I figured out what I did, I ran to the wash but the tag was ruined.
So, I am trying to find some to wear to work, and to wear to my WWII Reenacting events, but mainly for Work.
I love the look of the BUZZ Rickson's.

Any information is GREATLY Appreciated!!!!

Thank you!
Chad

A few years ago I lucked into an old army dufflebag that was filled with khakis and shirts from WWII, all from someone who happened to be my size. I threw out those that were stained but several remained in good condition and I wear them. I found them by searching eBay for "military khakis". Maybe you'll get lucky too.

The Royal Army still wears khaki trousers in the desert, unfortunately they have this delightful DPM pattern on them. However, as a Cadet, I was known to slip the odd pair of GAP khakis onto the parade square when wearing comba kit.

I was thinking about trying Buzz Rickson's. I was googling around and saw a place in Japan that offers Real McCoy WWII Khaki's and Buzz Rickson's Khaki's. They are cheaper than here in the US. I wonder the shipping charges though.

I dont know if i can fit in the BUZZ Rickson's. The largest they have is a 35, and I have gained weight and I am tight in a 36 (trying to loose some lbs, at age 31, I should hope I still can. I just need to quit drinking 6 Mountain Dews a day and I think I can).

I have also been told that the pants at WWII Impressions (Khaki's) are of excellent quality, size, weight, etc...

If anyone else can help me out, I greatly appreciate it!!!
