Definitely.

I don't take it so seriously as much anymore, especially in the realm of classic men's dress.

I still love sports coats and trousers, but I realized those don't currently suit the context of my lifestyle; I'm back to being a student.

I've bought more khakis, 5 pocket corduroy pants, black jeans, OG 107 fatigues, a chamois overshirt. I have an incoming denim jacket too.

Blackwatch robe for home, and balmacaans for coats.

Recently I discovered thin cotton turtleneck's are actually very comfortable and seemingly go with everything in my wardrobe. I think @Flanderian suggested these in the past to me. His contributions to the board are missed.

Overall I'd say I'm leaning towards an ivy meets workwear style, with some dashes of apparel arts. Despite a terrible year, this is probably the most fun I've ever had with clothing.

The biggest change for me has been not wearing a coat and tie to church services, as we have participated in said services online. Also I've been dressing pretty casual when the wife and I go out to eat, many times just picking up the meals and taking them home to eat. I've thought about picking up some store mannequins, dressing them up and posing them around the house to spice up our social life. LOL! ;)

What kind of casual wear?

For me, the ralph thread in the trad forum has likely been a subconscious influence on my casual wear.
No changes for me. Another day another wool suit...
Now this is very rare, what context do you wear the suits in?

Pretty much for everything and other than the BB blazer I'm wearing in my profile pic, suits are about all I have. Admittedly, It's not like I have much physical labour to do...

Since retiring, even with Covid, my daily wear consists of khakis or cords in winter, khakis in summer, polos and light button down(collar) shirts in summer and OCBD's and lambswool sweaters in witner months. This past year, while more socially isolated I saw no reason to become less dressed on a daily basis. LIke Eagle, I do miss a coat and tie for church as we too have gone to zoom services.

Kind of like Steve Martin in the movie The Lonely Guy? He does that with life sized cardboard cutouts. 😆 I was fascinated for years after seeing that and always wanted to do it!

I've been out of work and staying home since this began. When I was working I was wearing trousers and sport coat sans ties. I have been using the time away from work to dress a bit more formally. I now wear a tie every weekday, and sometimes even a suit. The other change is in the opposite direction since I am now confined to wearing house shoes.

With the office going more and more casual (even before COVID) and now my trips to the office being quite infrequent, my (fall/winter) style has turned much more ivy/British country. I’ve bought several pairs of cords, new Shetlands (don’t have to iron my shirts for zoom calls) and OCBDs.

My casualwear is built around an abundance of chinos, blue jeans, vented fishing shirts, knit polo shirts, penny loafers, boat shoes and camp mocs. If I dress up, I'll pull on an OCBD. Pretty casual, huh? ;)

Not changed for me, just paused. My suits and sportcoats have seen almost zero wear for a year now. But whenever work and social events return to something remotely approximating the old normal, I expect to be squeezing back into them.
Same here, although I'll add I've purchased a couple of sweater blazers that I use for zoom calls. I never appreciated them before, but now I do. On zoom over an OCBD, they're pretty indistinguishable from a real sport coat, but they feel like wearing a thick cardigan, so comfort is real high.

Covid has forced a number of changes for me. I no longer cough directly on the driver when I enter the bus and have stopped spitting on the seats. Wearing a mask negates the need to brush teeth, gargle or bother to wear my dentures. A mask will hide chin tattoos, like the "Feel the Bern" I rashly got inked in a state of liberal euphoria 5 years ago. The blue paper masks stores give out, grab a handful, they can be used elsewhere on the body. Older folks will get my drift. I have been sleeping more during covid, but waking up in odd places where it's usually wet and things keep scurrying across my feet. I go out less, so need far less makeup and am due to be vacinated this week tho the local drug store chains are short on doses so they've referred me to O'Reilly Auto Parts. Not my first choice, but game on since I also need a new set of wipers.
