What's the popular opinion on them? I saw some quite sharp gucci captoes and prada laceups at saks the other day, with what felt and appeared to be some high quality leather. Any info out there about who makes the shoes (if they don't in house), construction quality, etc...the gucci's were $425, so do-able, but not if they aren't going to hold up at least as well as my AE's.
