Hello everyone! I will be a freshman in college this upcoming school year. I have long been a fan of Trad clothing and just recently stumbled upon this wonderful forum. As things are, I am quite the novice when it comes to Trad but I look forward to learning about the wonderful clothing and lifestyle known as Trad.

I assume he means that, while he has long appreciated the look on others, he is only now embracing it for himself. Jeans and t-shirts are pretty easy in high school and sufficiently common to avoid the dreaded weggie.

Correct. In the area in which I live, Arkansas, Trad clothing is almost never seen. It has been extremely hard trying to fit some of the styles into my everyday clothes when most people at my high school wear American Eagle and Aeropostale religiously.

Welcome to the neighbourhood--You will soon find that Traditional/Trad has many subspecies, most of which get along just fine...with the occasional exception.
