Given the better bio mechanical support offered by the AE's and the fact they are leather lined, you should be able to do a lot more (extended) walking about comfortably in the AE's, than you might do in the Sperry's. Also the lined shoe will not get that fully broken down appearance that many boat shoes acquire after just a bit of wear. Were it me, I would buy the AE offering!

If these are for actual boating where there is a chance you will be walking on a wet deck I would have to see the soles. The best shoes for not slipping on a wet deck are made by Sperry. If these are just for the look I would say go with the AE's because deck shoes can be uncomfortable walking around on land for an extended period of time due to their thin construction. If they arent for boating I would go with the AE's just because they are likely to be more forgiving on your feet.
