I love the Gitman OCBD! There has been some discussion as to what everyone likes in terms of the roll on the collar and this one is my favorite.

I'd like to see it with a necktie. When I talk about collar roll, I'm talking about how the collar rolls with a necktie on; most oxfords look fairly similar sans tie.

Gitmans have longer collar points than Brooks OCBDs, and this makes for a longer, curvier roll. You can get away with wearing a slightly wider tie with these, 3-1/2" width vs. 3-1/4".

To my way of thinking, Gitman makes an OCBD that equals the Brooks OCBD while remaining completely different from it.

I purchased some Gitman OCBD's early this fall, and I agree that they are superior to Brooks Brothers. I also like that they are made here in the states. It seems most new BB stuff is made in Malaysia.

My store sells them. I have stock service in white, blue, pink, and blue stripe BD. And can special order the same plus pink stripe & yellow stripe in point, spread, BD, French cuff or button, with or without a placket, with or without a pocket.

Unfortunately, this hasn't always been true, though long, long ago it was true. A nice, long (say 3.5" length)

it would be great if they'd gone back to the longer style.

IMO the fit is slightly trimmer than the B2 OCBD...not by much but a little bit. They are still full cut but a little more shape in the body. I much prefer them to the Brooks, Mercer,etc..they are my favorites.
