Hi. Can I expect any shrinkage during laundering of Gitman OCBD shirts? I always wash cold and hang dry. I'm trying to determine which size to buy.

Cold wash at home probably will not result in much shrinkage. I have several Gitman OCBD and always commercially launder. Shrinkage on my shirts after about 7 - 10 washes is significant so I but 1/2" up in neck size.

My Gitman Vintage OCBD didn't have any noticeable shrinkage. The sleeves were about 1cm too long, and stayed that way when normally it would go away after washing.

I bought several of their non-fused OCBDs at O’Connell’s sale last year. I have them laundered. So far no discernible shrinkage. BTW, they are hands down my favorite shirts. The blue is an especially good shade, and pink and white stripe is da bomb.
