Made from the same Poplin Bill's used to use. Similar fit to Bill's also.
I recommend them. Top notch.
If you remember and liked that soft/light cotton feel, you should try these. You won't be disappointed.
I will be trying some more Franks Pants in the near future.
Purchased and hemmed at https://www.oconnellsclothing.com/Frank-s-Pants/

Check out the fit but please forgive the beltless look, I went untucked that day.

Should one live in a hot/humid environment, the trouser legs sucking in against the legs would not constitute a comfortable or desirable fit option! You need sufficient space for open air flow. LOL. :(

I own some M3 from Bills and they definitely don't taper nearly as much as those F3. The M3s from Bills, on my skinny legs, look like normal late-'50s style chinos - tapered but not skinny or fitted to my leg. Those F3s look like a jean fit on the bottom.

Ditto. I have a couple pairs of M3s and there is hardly any taper at all. I'm not super thin and they are still fairly roomy throughout the legs. The rise isn't quite as long as the M2s, but neither are they what I'd consider low-rise. The ones on the OP look nothing like my M3s.

I love the M3s for all the reasons you note. My body, 6'1", 150lbs with long legs, looks best with a slightly slimmer cut and a slightly lower rise than "normal" cuts. The M3s look on me, like "normal" cuts look on others.

Doesn’t seem like much love for Franks Pants.
The pants are nice, blame the model :)
I compared them to the Bill’s M3 I have and the difference is very minimal.
I like them and I like the fit. I also like that the pockets line up with the side seams unlike Bill’s M3.
I say try a pair for yourself, I think you’ll like them.
If the fit is too close, then go with the F2.
The lightweight cotton poplin is very nice.

I hope that's a pic prior to hemming.

Anyway, I don't think that cut is flattering on you. You are rail thin, and these pants accentuate that rather than fill you out a bit. You definitely need a slimmer cut than the average man, but this one goes too slim.

Also, in the pic from the back, looks like the pants would split if you tried to bend over.

Sorry man. Just my $0.02.

Fair enough.
The pic is deceiving, I've got plenty of room, no splitting going on.
Nothing I wear is tight.
