I thought the pattern would be nice for the holidays. Thinking of pairing with a navy sportscoat, but thinking a double breasted cashmere might be nice pairing. I'm 42 athletic build. My only double breasted jacket is a peacoat. Not sure about "pulling it off."

I think they would pair well with a lot of solids. Certainly navy but also red, yellow, grey...

I'm not sure there's anything which doesn't work with a peacoat. In any case, these trousers certainly will. Cashmere blazer, same thing.

A camel sport coat would work as well, especially if the material is flannel (one presumes?)
