I recently purchased a very nice mid-range Burberry London suit in navy pinstripe. The suit came with single-pleat trousers; I promptly had the pleats removed and like the look very much, however, I feel that the pants are a bit tight across the front of my thigh when doing anything more extreme than standing straight. When I walk the pockets gap a little bit when I sit and walk (a small bit of white pocket linning sometimes pokes through). The suit's fit is very british with high armholes, side venting, and a trim silouhette in general. Am I crazy to think tht the pants are a bit off; Is this a result of having the pleat removed?; Should this problem be correctable by a good tailor and, if so, where should I suggest the alterations be made?
