I have flannels from both and the O'Connell's run a little fuller all the way from seat to cuff. There's not too much in it, but the J Press' are certainly a touch timmer.
O’Connell’s may be an eighth of an inch more, but that might be my head playing tricks as they’re a fuller fit generally. Either way, they’re both a proper, traditional rise you ought to be happy with.
How old are your JPress? They changed suppliers last year when Hertling went out of business (later revived with different fits). Current JPress may not fit the same as previous years.
Fair point. These would've been Hertling pants. They are from 3-5 years ago.
