Was browsing O'Connell's and clicked their just in tab. I love beautiful Fairisles, which not all are. But what would should pop up but one of the nicest vests I've seen! Don't have my size , but as anyone who's familiar with O'Connell's knows, they typically don't have a huge size range, and have small stocks, so can sell out of sizes quickly. Just in should mean that for this particular item this is the best range of sizes that will be available. So if anyone has an interest, you might wish to give it serious consideration.

That is indeed a beautiful design, but looking at the two large packing tubs, filled with handsome sweaters I have not worn since migrating to the deep South, I suppose I should pass!

I note that J. Press also has a couple of Fair Isle sweater vest offerings, but they are pricier and sized S,M,L, and XL. I think it looks like another Texas winter with a couple of Shetlands for me!

I agree, somehow the pattern doesn't look as good on the sleeves or it's just too much of a good thing.

Searching "Jamieson" on Google produces lack luster results...

My experience is that many of UK merchants international shipping is steep, but all's well that ends well! 👍

And the value of the pound is also going up now Brexit has been finalized. Hopefully doesn't go too far up, UK is the only place for a lot of sartorial clothing.

Those slip overs are really nice looking, especially love the kelp. Now thanks to y'all, on the wish list. At least don't have my size 40, would have purchased.

Jumping the gun a wee bet there I'd say. But, yes, the pound has been rallying in anticipation of a Johnson victory and Brexit to follow. That said, still many hurdles to get over and, if we've learned anything in the past three years, nothing is a given with Brexit.

Well, I have not followed Brexit that much, only now and then doing a Google search, in fact, most of the time clueless of the news now that don't go out anymore. And much like it that way, especially as has improved my health. Not a damn thing can be done, too much corruption and money, so why bother worrying over it?

So, bit of a gamble either purchasing now or waiting, as if neither happens and the pound plunges, then lost and if don't purchase now and does happen, well lost. So now here I am trying to decide when to purchase those Jodhpurs. Kind of thinking wait and see if Dick's has an end of season sale.
