Due to winter sales, I ordered a suit set online and in several sizes.

I thought they're the same color when looking online, but in person I can't tell. it feels like the pants is slightly darker than the top. Both are supposedly navy. pattern seems similar enough though. Here are some pics. I took several due to lighting issues. these are the same

secondly, if they are indeed the same which jacket size looks better, left (size 38) or right (size 40)

It’s really difficult to tell without seeing it in person and in various lighting conditions.

Thanks. if I am second guessing myself, then I should return it! which I just did

I think from now on, Suits are one of those things that shouldn't be bought online.
I'll go to a store and ask the staff to help choose and measure (will likely cost more but I only need one suit as I can get away with blazers and slacks/chinos for work)
