My first quality suit is DB. Still have it, but am still about 20lbs from fitting in it again. When I get there, I will rock it.

Was quite surprised to read an article just weeks ago on DB blazer with trousers, chinos or denim and no tie. Still not convinced, though .

Currently, no. But, I would wear a double breasted overcoat and a double breasted vest (both high cut) if I ever buy bespoke.

If I had use for morning dress and white tie and tails (both of which I would only buy bespoke), I would wear double breasted morning and tail coats, both cut to be unbuttoned and both low cut. And both with a double breasted vest (low cut with white tie and tails and mid cut with morning dress).

I have a DB tux and a DB blue blazer. I like them both. I'm not sure whether I will order any more but I wear these whenever the occasion suggests.

A double-breasted morning coat? That hasn't seen the light of day since the Edwardian era. Both double-breasted and single-breasted morning coats have always been cut to be buttoned.

My hand is raised,
Many of us have boyhood heroes. Mine was Jack Paar. Google if needed. He wore double breasts often. That's where I got the idea.
I did and thank you for the spur. Even had Bette Davis on (Grandmother's favorite actress).

In Jack's return after walking off, noticed he is wearing a DB blazer, looks to be Navy. Still didn't find the water closet joke, bet be tame compared to the foul mouthed comedians of today.

Will look more at Jack's material, got so into, now way past time to turn in.

Almost all my suits are DB, and were I to buy another, it would also be DB. I have two blazers and one of them is DB. I am not a fan of DB sport coats, though - they always seem to me to come off as orphaned suit jackets.

A few, for sure. I've got blue melange DB suit in a lightweight flannel, and a pretty traditional DB navy flannel reefer blazer picked up for a song a few years ago. I don't plan on adding more than a couple more, but my wife noted that she liked me in DB (which is about 90% more committal than any other comment she ventures on my wardrobe), so I weigh that somewhat heavily.
