I got one of the two Norfolk waistcoats back when DEL ran their sale (deanayer-thanks!), and was originally given a completion date about a week ago. My order was even delayed a few days since they noted a measureable drop in chest/waist measurements and asked for confirmation before proceeding. So I figure mine will run a week or so later; no big rush on my part.

I get an e-mail today stating they apologize for the delay and as compensation they are sending one of their ties gratis.

I didn't/wouldn't expect anything since I thought the delay was them doing due diligence. Unknown to me, they were waiting on buttons. I can only guess that their work is of commensurate quality, and will post my impressions when I receive the items.

I got the same email and same free tie - very nice !! I really wasn't about to panic if things got delayed but I like the pro-active touch, you dont get that very often.
