cutaway collar vs spread collar

Are cutaway and spread collars the same thing? I think I've only seen the phrase cutaway on the Charles Tyrwhill (sp?) website.

A cutaway collar is one in which the points are set far apart and at an extreme angle approaching horizontal. A spread collar has its points set farther apart and at a greater angle than a point collar but closer together and at a less extreme angle than the cutaway.

It's rather extreme, in my opinion. I wouldn't get it if you're still discovering your clothing preferences.
