Marco a friend of mine from an old textile firm in Italy is making a new website for custom made ties. While editing the English version of his site I noticed that several of his measurements were using the metric system.

For example he gives a choice of several different weights of wool for the interlining and different widths, lengths and shapes for the overall tie.

I am used to metrics but I am wondering if I should firmly suggest that all the measurements be in good old comfortable inches and ounces? (For the English site)

All comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

David
