Hi,

I just got caught in a rainstorm, got my cordovan tassel loafers (AE Graysons) completely wet. Put the trees in them. Is there anything else I need to do? Also, what looks like is going to be the excessive curling of the tassels?

Thanks.

i would not put the trees in them until they were mostly dry

I'm very wary of any risk of stretching shell and if mine had gotten soaked in a rainstorm I'd let them dry slowly for a day or two and then put the trees in.

I'm just cautious that way.

I would hold off on the shoe trees until they have completely dried on their own. Rubber bands around the shoes and over the tassels should eliminate curling--I generally wrap the shoe in a light cloth and then put the rubber band on to eliminate marking, etc. from the rubber band.
