Contrast Collar shirt

I have a well fitting light blue shirt with frayed collar and cuffs. Has anyone tried to make a contrast collar shirt from one they own?

I would like to hear about it. Is there a source of premade collars and cuffs I could purchase?

Is this a project where it would be better to just buy a shirt with one already?

Any advice or guidance is appreciated. Thank you

Yep - what Flanderian said. Unless you are a talented seamster and have another identical trashed shirt that has good cuffs and collar.
