what do you associate with these terms?
to me a "city coat" is an overcoat in a rather simple style without any special features. it may be single or double breasted with button-through or fly front;
a "travel coat" has a rather inofficial style and can be worn for many purposes (very versatile coat), has a comfortable cut with raglan or set-in sleeves and button-through front.
what do you think?
