In today's Wall Street Journal (p. B4), there is a case study about a tailor in Cincinnati, Trevor Furbay, who owns a men's clothing store that makes suits. He bought the store from an Italian immigrant and moved it upscale. He also quit stocking RTW men's suits and started stocking the cloth to make them. It's not clear from the article if these are MTM or bespoke.

The article doesn't give the shop's name. Anyone know who the shop or tailor might be?

Also, the business model is very interesting. His profits boomed after he started making suits instead of tying cash up in expensive finished suit inventory. He now employs 6 tailors! Perhaps the small men's clothing stores around the country should be encouraged to follow his model.
