Any number of current and archival posts document changes in our culture in the sartorial area that are seen as fairly negative.
The article in the June 3 Wall Street Journal by Robert J. Hughes may be a sign of better days to come. The following is all quoted from Mr. Hughes article;
Men are now donning more formal clothing with annual sales of french cuff shirts up 25% at Bergdorf Goodman.
At Cufflinks.com sales are up 67% over last year.
BB is increasing its cuff link selection by 50% to 150 models.

Maybe "business casual" will go the way of the leisure suit, Nehru Jacket, etc.
