I’m not familiar with this exact style, but I am familiar with many of the vintage AE styles. My Father used to be a collector of sorts.

The 0274 on the inside of the shoe is the shoes style number. Because it starts with a zero, this tells us that this shoe was likely never featured in one of the Allen-Edmonds catalogs. Styles that start with a “0” were often “special production runs.” The number 4 at the end is the last that this shoe was made on. And being that this style has a broader toe, different from the more recent four last AE has used, it is safe to say that the shoe was manufactured prior to the mid 80’s which is when the old “4” last was no longer used. (I think they were burned up in the fire at the original plant in Belgium)

I would venture to take an educated guess that the shoes were made in the mid to late 70’s.
