I have a suit that I love, except that the jacket has very closed quarters. Would a competent tailor be able to open the quarters a bit by cutting and re-sewing the edge, or would that require taking apart the whole jacket? Thanks.

not much can be done in that the bottom buttonhole cannot be moved if its a two or three button sb. although if the bottom buttonhole were to be removed and rewoven its possable, but costly.
if its a one button sb it can be done.
