Can someone tell me what kind of fabric this Brooks shirt is made out of? I'll attach a couple pictures of it. It's a relatively light fabric. It's pretty perfect for summer. My knowledge of shirt fabrics pretty much ends at being able to tell that it's not seersucker or typical oxford cloth. Thanks in advance.

Almost impossible to tell from the pics, but had there been no text with the OP, I'd have said straight Oxford Cloth. But since the OP says he could tell if it was that and that this shirt is lighter in weight, could it still be an Oxford Cloth that is either well worn (since it's a quite old shirt) - and, hence, feels lighter than new Oxford Cloth - or was originally woven to be a lighter-in-wieght Oxford Cloth (J.Crew did some "summer weight" Oxford Cloth shirts a few years back)?

It isn't twill, poplin, herringbone or broadcloth. That pretty much sums up the typical types of shirting. So I would agree that it is probably pinpoint oxford.
Yes, it's a pinpoint Oxford. Judging from the label, it's perhaps 15 to 18 years old at least. It was made before Brooks Brothers shifted production of their pinpoints to Asia.

Brooks Brothers makes (and has long made) their must-iron, button-down pinpoint Oxford shirts in the following colors: white, light blue, ecru, light pink, blue stripe and red stripe. You have one of the older blue-stripe pinpoints.

So do I. With that kind of label.

Purchased around 2002-2003.

A must-iron, made-in-USA pinpoint from BB. Good-bye to those days. I remember when I'd take for granted the "Made in USA" label on shirts and trousers and stuff.

(I just reminded myself of a joke I read on a refrigerator magnet: "I'm old enough to remember when people would go an entire day without taking a photograph of something.")

Pinpoint oxford. Keep in mind that there is a continuum of finer and coarser versions of oxford cloth. This one is pretty close to the middle ground between oxford and pinpoint oxford.

My sentiments, exactly! ;)
