Here's a question that came in by way of email and I thought the community here could help out.

Hello, I have a oiled Peter storm wool sweater, I bought it from some place over the internet in the UK. It's not as oiled as the one I had in the 1970's. Can I re oil it ?

I did find a pretty old thread that suggested it could be done using lanolin lotion or soap:

But, I'm curious if anyone has any more recent experience trying to re-oil an oiled wool sweater?
