I got an email today from Rancourt about a crowdfunding project for 40% off some of their shoe styles. I'm always looking for new shoe styles, especially on the casual style. I have some boat shoes that I enjoy in the summer. I know little about camp mocs, but The little research I've read calls them "fall boat shoes." So a couple of questions - in the pic below, the top is a blucher moc, correct, while the second a camp moc? Any real reason to own one vs other, other than style preference? What to wear this with? I assume khaki/chinos, but are moleskins appropriate? Corduroy?

Any and all advice appreciated.

Correct. I have a pair of ranger mocs (Gokey) that I prefer for the support that an blucher provides over a camp moc. I wear with khakis and cords, don't own any moleskins.

I've worn both designs, but much prefer the Ranger Moc design, with four such designs included in my footwear collection. I like the Ranger Moc design because the lacing throat allows for greater customization of the shoes fit. I'v e been very happy with my Rancourt Shoe purchases. Good luck in your hunt.
