Just seeking the opinion of others here. Usually they're politicians, but I see men in business suits wearing dress shirts with buttondown collars. I think this looks horrible! Personally, I like the look of a tab collar, or straight collar with collar bar (it lets everyone know that you have no intention of loosening the tie, which does look sloppy). Now, with a blazer, I think that a buttondown shirt with a repp tie giving somewhat of a "preppy" look is acceptable. But with a suit, especially in a business environment, no way....the fewer buttons that are exposed on the shirt the better! Am I alone in thinking this way?
