Brooks Bros in China

Did someone write about this? I was at the Brooks store in Westport today, joining the big Fathers day shopping crowd. At the front of the store were blazers labeled Brooks Cool in a lighweight navy. I looked at the origin label and I saw they were made in China. Far more remarkable to my mind was the fact that they were clearly full canvas jackets. The price was 25% of of 450 dollars. An astonishing bargain for a full canvas jacket. (The canvas to me felt fairly thick, possibly to heavy given the weight of the wool).
