I just received a notification from this vintage clothing company about a bunch of carpenter pants (mostly Dickies) that are pretty well-used, but in wearable condition. In case anyone is interested, they are shown here:

The price is 69 euros for a pair, which converts to $75 rounded up, at today's exchange rate. I have some Dickies carpenter pants, and they have usually been obtained through local thrift shops in this small Wisconsin college town where I live. My costs are never beyond $10 per pair, and often, it is closer to $5. This is nothing new, of course. Big city prices are usually much higher for everything. Living in small town America confers some benefits on the folks who choose to live there, LOL. The cost of vintage items in general, and even the cost of living, is much less.
