Due to a recent discovery while looking at suits made in italy during the middle of the 20th century I have become very curious about the various interpertation of the "barchetta" breast pockets on jackets. I can't seem to find any images online so the plea to experts such as yourself.

A little background: I discovered a shape breast pockets that literally resembles the way a child would draw a boat with the top edge extending an inch beyond the bottom edge and the edges being connected by an arc. Altough somewhat severe at first sight, the more I look at it the more the shape of the pocket appeals to me. I am wondering if this is a design of a mad craftsman or a classical shape that has been lost over the last 5 to 6 decades.

Since my spirit of adventure in satorial matters will only allow me to make subtle changes to what is considered classic, a library of images with different breast pocket shapes would be most handy.

Thank you all.

Look good and feel better.
