Hi. Excellent site.I discovered it looking for advice on golf apparel and I have found it excellent.
I was wonder whether you consider of good taste the custom of popular pret-a-porter designers (e.g. Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Dior, Levis, etc) to put their name or logo visible in the clothes.

I think it can be considered an extreme way to "communicate" by wearing clothes. You are not only given a message with colours or design, but also factors like your wealth status is transmitted. Typically, the crocodile of Lacoste or the polo player of R. Lauren is like walking with a sign that says "I have money, you know".

Another more subtle message transmited is related to identifying yourself with a particular lifestyle.
