Black shoes with dark chocolate brown suit

I've always heard that one should wear shoes darker than the suit, in general. However, with my dark chocolate brown suit, I'm finding it difficult to find brown shoes which would "match" the darkness of the brown of the suit. It is definitely NOT black, but should I pair it with black shoes and belt? Suggestions? Much thanks...
