I've done a search on this as well as black and brown mixing in general. Obviously a brown jacket and brown shoes looks better, but I'm having trouble finding a nice brown leather coat that could be worn with business casual attire. I've seen some advertising whereby models (JCrew, BR) are wearing black car coats / leather coats with brown shoes. Not to say that they are obviously style experts, but I have noticed that brown is just not as common a jacket/coat color in general.
What are your thoughts? In addition, I'm looking for a nice brown wool/leather jacket or car coat that is less than $300 if anyone has an opinion.
