While visiting a tailor today, I saw something I'd never seen before--- beveled double shirt cuffs. Normally, I associate beveled corners with Italian style (these guys were quite English-- and Scottish), but it seemed to fit really well with this fellow's style.
Practical, too. As he explained, he does a lot of work over the table, and cutting the corners on his cuffs keeps them from wearing. Might be a useful way to extend life on conventional French cuffs that are getting worn on the corner-- short of matching the color with a new set or going straight over to white.
